Gio Galvan was his usual excellent self, almost dropping a triple-double on 20 points, nine rebounds, and nine assists for Los Fresnos. Galvan has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last six times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Andrew Munoz, who scored 19 points.
San Benito has been struggling recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season. As for Los Fresnos, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 22-6.
San Benito will take on Weslaco at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses for Weslaco and three for San Benito. As for Los Fresnos, they will head out on the road to challenge Harlingen at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Harlingen will be looking to extend their current 20-game winning streak.
