Cook gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. Everything went their way against the Berrien Rebels as they made off with a 29-6 win. The Hornets haven't had any issues with the Rebels recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Cook was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 250 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Berrien only rushed for 68 rushing yards.
Cook has already played their next game, a 22-6 win against Bainbridge on the 22nd. As for Berrien, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 47-21 victory against Lanier County on the 21st.
