Blue Ridge found their leader in sophomore Talia Maxwell, who dropped a double-double with 15 points and 17 rebounds. The dominant performance gave Maxwell a new career-high in boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaydin Sullivan, who posted 12 points and three steals.
Blue Ridge smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in six consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, it's playoff time, and Lancaster had no trouble coming through when it counted. They took down Fountain Inn 51-32 on Tuesday.
Lancaster's win came from a few key players Blue Ridge will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was India Adams, who put up 13 points along with five rebounds and three steals. She continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Eliza Baskins was another key player, putting up 13 points and four steals.
Blue Ridge's victory bumped their record up to 20-6. As for Lancaster, the win got them back to even at 13-13.
