The Fredericktown Freddies's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their third straight loss. They took a hard 46-27 fall against Clear Fork. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Fredericktown has scored all season.
Fredericktown's loss came despite strong showings from Cally Carpenter and Emily Feeney. Carpenter scored 13 points along with five rebounds, while Feeney scored eight points. Carpenter scored a full 48.1% of Fredericktown's points, the sixth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Fredericktown now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Clear Fork, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-2.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fredericktown will play host again and welcome Northmor, where tip off is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Clear Fork, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Loudonville at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
