Essex won the last time they faced Lunenburg Central and things went their way on Saturday too. The Essex Trojans came out on top against the Lunenburg Central Chargers by a score of 56-43. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Trojans.

Essex's victory bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Lunenburg Central, they moved to 6-7 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Essex will host Northumberland at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Northumberland knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past nine matchups -- so hopefully Essex likes a good challenge. As for Lunenburg Central, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Cumberland at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (Lunenburg Central has won four straight at home, while Cumberland won three straight on the road), something that'll have to change.
