The Lake Country Christian Eagles's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their third straight defeat. They fell to Trinity Christian 68-64. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Despite the defeat, Lake Country Christian saw an underclassman step up: Sam Foley scored 21 points along with three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Foley has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Josiah Biddle, who scored 18 points.
Lake Country Christian has traveled a rocky road recently having lost 15 of their last 18 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-27 record this season. As for Trinity Christian, their win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-19.
