Baseball Recap: Sayre Beats Hobart for Their Third Straight Win

Sayre won against Snyder last Monday with 13 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Tuesday. Sayre blew past the Hobart Bearcats 13-3. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won six games by seven runs or more so far this season.

The victory (which was Sayre's third in a row) raised their record to 8-2. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.7 runs over those games. As for Hobart, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Looking ahead, Sayre will venture away from home to square off against Hollis at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday. Sayre is facing Hollis at the right time seeing as Hollis is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Hobart, they are taking a road trip to take on Navajo at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Navajo will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something Hobart surely won't give up without a fight.
