When it comes to explaining why Pioneer Valley lost, one person who can't be blamed is Inderveer Toor. Despite the final result, he scored 25 points along with six rebounds. The contest was Toor's 14th in a row with at least ten points. Jarell White was another key contributor, scoring seven points.
Tulare Western was led to victory by Kaine Garcia and Malachi Ficher. Garcia scored 22 points along with eight rebounds, while Ficher scored 36 points along with eight assists and eight rebounds. That makes it five consecutive games in which Ficher has scored at least 25% of Tulare Western's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Michael Johnson, who scored four points.
Pioneer Valley has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-8 record this season. As for Tulare Western, their win bumped their record up to 8-6.
