Basketball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Donovan Posey and Junior Stiffarm Lead Dodson to Victory

You can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Dodson's strategy against Harlem on Thursday. The Dodson Coyotes put the hurt on the Harlem Wildcats with a sharp 74-53 victory. With that win, the Coyotes brought their scoring average up to 51.8 points per game.

Leading Dodson to victory were Junior Stiffarm and Donovan Posey. Stiffarm posted 27 points, while Posey had 20 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which Stiffarm has scored at least a third of Dodson's points. Another player making a difference was Lance KillEagle, who earned ten points.

The victory got Dodson back to even at 3-3. As for Harlem, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.

When Dodson and Harlem next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Dodson will try to stop Lustre Christian's five-game winning streak when the meet at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Harlem will try to stop Box Elder's three-game winning streak when the meet at 6:30 p.m. on January 16th.
