Coolidge fell to Anacostia 38-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
The Indians made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 7,584 from 9,175. The improvement was largely due to a 38-0 victory over the Colts last week.
Anacostia's dynamic duo of Rashad Shackleford and Laquan Barber proved tough for Coolidge to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Shackleford threw for 215 yards and 4 touchdowns and Barber had 91 yards receiving. David Richardson helped Anacostia's passing attack out by catching 6 balls for 76 yards.
6-foot-2 quarterback Scott Beumel of Wilson is the league leader in passing yards this season with 963. He has also thrown 6 touchdowns. The leading receiver in the league this season is Delonte Matthews. The Dunbar star has 18 catches for 311 yards.
The marquee game in DCIAA - Stars this week will be the clash between Cato June's team and Dunbar. The Indians enters the contest ranked 14th in the state, while the Crimson Tide ranks 11th.
Anacostia led the league in scoring this week by notching 38 points on Natalie Randolph's team. Shackleford during the win.
