The Scottsbluff Bearcats are ranked highly in their home state, and on Friday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of the Central Indians. Scottsbluff fell 58-51 to Central. Scottsbluff has been going strong on the season, but this is now their second loss in a row.
Several Bearcats players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Nate Kelley, who scored 18 points along with five assists and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Keon Delgado, who scored seven points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
Scottsbluff's defeat dropped their record down to 9-3. As for Central, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 11-0.
