The Eupora Eagles will finish 2023 at home by hosting the Starkville Academy Volunteers at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday.
Last Tuesday, Eupora lost to Bruce at home by a decisive 55-37 margin. Eupora has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Meanwhile, Starkville Academy entered their tilt with Lamar with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Starkville Academy skirted past Lamar 45-42.
Eupora now has a losing record at 5-6. As for Starkville Academy, they pushed their record up to 12-5 with that win, which was their third straight on the road.
Eupora skirted past Starkville Academy 63-60 in their previous meeting back in January of 2017. Will Eupora repeat their success, or does Starkville Academy have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
