The Trotwood-Madison Rams will be playing in front of their home fans against the Western Hills Mustangs at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Trotwood-Madison comes in on five and Western Hills on three.
Even though Dunbar scored an imposing 68 points on Saturday, Trotwood-Madison still came out on top. Trotwood-Madison snuck past Dunbar with a 73-68 victory. Given Trotwood-Madison's advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 66th, while Dunbar is ranked 226th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Trotwood-Madison's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Delamar Blanton, who scored 13 points, and Ja'Carious Reaves, who scored 14 points.
Meanwhile, even though Withrow scored an imposing 65 points on Tuesday, Western Hills still came out on top. Western Hills managed a 70-65 win over Withrow.
Trotwood-Madison pushed their record up to 11-3 with that victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.7 points per game. As for Western Hills, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-2 record this season.
