Basketball Recap: Hamilton Triumphs

If Bravo wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Hamilton, they should've done a better job of containing Garrett Anderson. The Hamilton Yankees blew past the Bravo Knights 83-41 on Wednesday thanks in part to Anderson, who went 11 for 15 on his way to 26 points and seven rebounds. He is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last three games he's played.

Alan Tashlyk was another key player, going 6 of 13 on his way to 15 points and six assists. That's the most assists he has posted since back in November of 2023.

Several Knights players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Adrian Arriaga, who posted ten points along with six rebounds and five assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Julian Ojeda, who had 18 points and five rebounds.

Hamilton's victory bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Bravo, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Hamilton didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, an 87-64 win against North Hollywood on the 19th. As for Bravo, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 72-35 defeat against Sierra Vista on the 19th.
