The Lincoln Patriots are taking a road trip to square off against the Roosevelt Rough Riders at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.
Lincoln is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering O'Gorman just ended the team's seven-match winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Knights by a score of 3-2. While the Patriots didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Knights 25-21 in the first set.
Lincoln started the match hot and won the first two sets, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 21-25, 23-25, 25-21, 25-23, 15-13.

Everything went Lincoln's way against Roosevelt in their previous matchup back in September, as Lincoln made off with a 3-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Patriots since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
