They took their match on the road on Friday with ease, bagging a 60-27 win over Twin Loup. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest victory Stuart has managed all season.
Stuart got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Benjamin Paxton out in front who scored 13 points along with five rebounds and four steals. Paxton set a new season high mark in points with 13. The team also got some help courtesy of Drew Schmaderer, who scored 13 points along with four steals.
Stuart's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Twin Loup, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Stuart will be playing at home against Cody-Kilgore on Saturday. As for Twin Loup, they will head out on the road to face off against Brady at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday. Hopefully Brady focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 40 on Friday.
