Basketball Recap: Enochs Piles Up the Points Against Central Valley

It was a Battle of the Birds when Enochs challenged Central Valley on Saturday. The Enochs Eagles simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Central Valley Hawks 78-39. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five games by 22 points or more this season.

Central Valley's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Andre Flores, who posted eight points and nine rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Blake Silva, who earned six points.

Enochs' victory bumped their record up to 10-5. As for Central Valley, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 7-10.

Enochs will face off against Turlock at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Central Valley, they will square off against Livingston at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Central Valley is facing Livingston at the right time seeing as Livingston is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
