Kiski Area extended their losing streak to four on Tuesday, dropping their season record down to 2-12 in the process. They took a 7-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Penn-Trafford Warriors. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-4 on Monday.
Kiski Area got a good showing from Austin Bachar, who pitched four innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. The dominant performance also gave Bachar a new career-low in walks (zero).

On the hitting side, John Deluca made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. He has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last five times he's played. Zach Hald was another key player, going 1-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
As for Penn-Trafford, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games.
On Penn-Trafford's side, they got a great performance from Zach Feldman as he struck out six batters over six innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off six hits.
At the plate, Brayden Stone was excellent, going 2-for-3 with three stolen bases and one run. Those three stolen bases gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Aiden Drotos, who went 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
Looking ahead, Kiski Area will look to defend their home field on Friday against Pine-Richland at 4:00 p.m. As for Penn-Trafford, they will head out on the road to challenge Franklin Regional at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
