Sterlington waltzed into their match on Saturday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They walked away with a 6-3 victory over the Iowa Yellowjackets. That's more bragging rights for the Panthers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Sterlington's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 26-6. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.7 runs on average over those games. As for Iowa, their defeat dropped their record down to 16-14.

Sterlington wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, an 8-0 win against D'Arbonne Woods on the 14th. Iowa does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
