Evans fought the good fight in their overtime  matchup against Oviedo  on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They were just a  hair shy of victory  and fell  29-28 to the Lions. The Trojans were up  14-0 in the first  quarter but couldn't hold on to the lead.
 Evans' loss came despite a true team effort from the offense with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Omyry Hickson, who rushed for 118 yards and one  score. The team also got some help courtesy of  Li'Darious Pryor, who rushed for 82 yards and a pair of  TDs.
 Oviedo was led to victory by  Emiliano Galarza and  Sebastian Galeano.  Galarza picked up 86 receiving yards and two  touchdowns, while  Galeano threw for 200 yards and a pair of  TDs on only 18 passes.  Brock Joyce handled things on the ground, rushing for 91 yards.
