The Wink Wildcats entered their tilt with the Sterling City Eagles with six consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with seven. Wink was the clear victor by a 28-6 margin over Sterling City. The result was nothing new for Wink, who have now won seven matchups by 20 points or more so far this season.
Jeremiah Gallardo was a one-man wrecking crew for Wink as he rushed for 115 yards and three touchdowns, and also threw for 136 yards and a touchdown while completing 80% of his passes. Gallardo is on a roll when it comes to rushing yards, as he's now rushed for 100 or more in the last five games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Zachary Yactayo, who picked up 123 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Wink's win was their fifth straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 9-1. As for Sterling City, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-3.
