Rowlett and Garland are an even 5-5 against one another since March of 2017, but likely not for long. The Eagles will face off against the Owls at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Garland will square off against a team with plenty of momentum: Rowlett extended their winning streak to three on Saturday. The Eagles were the clear victors by a 15-2 margin over Seguin.

Jordynn Williams
| 02/28/26 @ Seguin | 5 |
| 02/17/26 @ South Garland | 3 |
| 03/26/25 @ Sachse | 3 |
| 03/11/25 @ Wylie | 3 |
| 02/28/26 @ Caddo Mills | 2 |
Jordynn Williams was a standout: she went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, five stolen bases, and three runs. Those five stolen bases gave her a new career-high. Baylee Grant was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and one triple.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Rowlett kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Seguin only managed six.
Meanwhile, Garland got themselves on the board against Naaman Forest on Tuesday, but Naaman Forest never followed suit. They put the hurt on the Rangers with a sharp 15-0 victory.
Naaman Forest's batters probably weren't too happy with Taylor Harrell, who pitched a no hitter and racked up 11 Ks (she gave up zero walks). Harrell has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Garland let Samantha Blalock and Melody Alarcon run wild. Blalock went 2-for-4 with five RBI, two runs, and one double, while Alarcon got on base in all five of her plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Payton Dean, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI and two doubles.
Rowlett's record now sits at 12-3. As for Garland, their record is now 14-3.
Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Friday. Rowlett hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 0.7 home runs per game. However, it's not like Garland struggles in that department as they've been averaging 0.7 home runs. With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down.
Rowlett couldn't quite get it done against Garland in their previous meeting back in April of 2025 as they fell 6-2. Can the Eagles avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
