On Saturday, Brownstown Central was the victim of a tough 76-51 defeat at the hands of Indianapolis Crispus Attucks.
Mason Lewis was his usual excellent self, scoring 23 points along with eight assists for Indianapolis Crispus Attucks. Those eight assists set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of Chris Hurt, who scored 17 points along with five assists.
Brownstown Central's defeat dropped their record down to 9-3. As for Indianapolis Crispus Attucks, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-3.
Brownstown Central's road trip will continue as they head out to face Jennings County at 7:30 p.m. on January 5, 2024. Hopefully Jennings County focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up ten on Saturday. As for Indianapolis Crispus Attucks, they will look to defend their home court on Saturday against 21st Century Charter at 2:30 p.m.
