Texas Wind will head out on the road to take on the Abbott Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Tuesday, Texas Wind beat Grace Academy 54-46. The win was just what Texas Wind needed coming off of a 76-40 defeat in their prior game.
Meanwhile, Abbott came tearing into Friday's game with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 42 points) and they left with even more momentum. They managed a 59-54 victory over Jonesboro.
Texas Wind pushed their record up to 13-7 with that win, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.2 points per game. As for Abbott, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season.
