American Christian School on the road again on Saturday and play against Central Jersey College Prep at 4:30 p.m. on January 27th. American Christian School knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past six matchups -- so hopefully Central Jersey College Prep likes a good challenge.
Even though Veritas Christian Academy scored an imposing 62 points on Tuesday, American Christian School still came out on top. American Christian School walked away with a 71-62 victory over Veritas Christian Academy.
It was another big night for Japhet Santiago, who scored 34 points. He hasn't dropped below 15points for four straight games. Another player making a difference was Elijah Kenyi, who scored 14 points.
Meanwhile, Central Jersey College Prep came up short against New Brunswick on Thursday and fell 44-33.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Carter Staton, who scored 11 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Cameron Porter, who scored seven points.
American Christian School is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season. As for Central Jersey College Prep, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-7.
