The result was an unpleasant reminder to Springlake-Earth of the 70-43 loss they experienced in the two teams' previous head-to-head fixture on January 9th.
Despite the loss, Springlake-Earth still got an impressive performance from Jj Jaramillo, who scored 20 points along with two steals. Jaramillo is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 20 or more in the last five games he's played. Isaiah Tovar was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with six steals.
Springlake-Earth's loss dropped their record down to 11-8. As for Nazareth, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-10.
Springlake-Earth will challenge the Cowboys at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Happy will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak. As for Nazareth, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Longhorns at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
