The Winter Haven Blue Devils will head out to face off against the George Jenkins Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Winter Haven 2.2, George Jenkins 2.5) so any runs scored will be well earned.
Winter Haven will roll into the game after a wild two-game stretch: they didn't score any runs on Friday, then bounced right back against Ridge Community on Monday. The Blue Devils put the hurt on the Bolts with a sharp 12-2 victory. Considering the Blue Devils have won four matchups by more than nine runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.
Michael Allen looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up a single earned run any time he's pitched this season.

On the hitting side, Winter Haven got a massive performance out of Najee Jiles, who went 3-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. Those three hits gave Jiles a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Jaden Horbett, who went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and one run.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for George Jenkins, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out Lakeland Christian 10-9. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Eagles considering their two-run performance the contest before.
George Jenkins pushed their record up to 11-1 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.6 runs over those games. As for Winter Haven, their record is now 9-2.
Winter Haven came out on top in a nail-biter against George Jenkins in their previous matchup on Thursday, sneaking past 3-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Blue Devils since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
