It's playoff time, and Bynum had no trouble coming through when it counted. They took down the Penelope Wolverines 43-25 on Monday. The win continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their matchups with the Wolverines: they've now won four in a row.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Bynum to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jaedyn Degner, who posted 15 points in addition to five assists and five boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Madi Westmoreland, who almost dropped a double-double with nine points and ten rebounds.
Bynum's victory bumped their record up to 20-7. As for Penelope, they now have a losing record at 11-12.
Looking ahead, Bynum will square off against Huckabay on Thursday. Huckabay knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past six games -- so hopefully Bynum likes a good challenge. Penelope does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
