Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Gallup). Everything went their way against the Bloomfield Bobcats on Thursday as they made off with a 28-12 victory. The Bengals might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matches by seven runs or more this season.

Gallup is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-8 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.0 runs over those games. As for Bloomfield, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-14.

Looking ahead, Gallup will look to defend their home field on Saturday against Miyamura at 1:00 p.m. The Bengals' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Patriots have averaged an impressive 8.5 runs per game this season. As for Bloomfield, they will head out on the road to challenge Aztec at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Bobcats will need to watch out since the Tigers have now posted at least ten runs in their last eight games.
