A well-balanced attack led Hancock over Calvary Christian Academy in every quarter on their way to victory on Monday. The Hancock Panthers took down Calvary Christian Academy 59-41. Winning may never get old, but the Panthers sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.
Hancock's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Colton Welch, who posted 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jacob Anderson, who had ten points and six rebounds.
Hancock was working as a unit and finished the game with 11 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Calvary Christian Academy only posted four assists.
Loss or not, Calvary Christian Academy got some senior leadership from Geren Knight and Nathan Strachan. The win got Hancock back to even at 5-5. As for Calvary Christian Academy, they now have a losing record at 6-7.
Hancock will head out on the road to take on Northern Garrett at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
