Three Rivers is 9-1 against Niles since December of 2017, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Three Rivers Wildcats will head out on the road to challenge the Niles Vikings at 6:00 p.m. The pair have had a bumpy ride up to this point with five consecutive losses for Three Rivers and 32 for Niles.
Last Tuesday, Three Rivers took a serious blow against Coldwater, falling 57-17. Three Rivers was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 32-10.
Meanwhile, Niles ended up a good deal behind Plainwell on Friday and lost 48-31.
Three Rivers dropped their record down to 2-6 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Niles, their loss dropped their record down to 0-10.
Everything came up roses for Three Rivers against Niles when the teams last played back in January of 2023 as the team secured a 70-38 win. Does Three Rivers have another victory up their sleeve, or will Niles turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
