Holly Springs came tearing into Monday's match with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Green Level Gators with a sharp 11-1 win. Considering the Golden Hawks have won 12 contests by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Kendall Wallace made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run while striking out nine over five innings pitched. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in February.

In other batting news, Ella Poulk was a standout: she went 1-for-2 with two runs and two RBI. Zoe Peptis was another key player, going 3-for-4 with three runs.

Holly Springs always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .517. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Green Level only posted an OBP of .318.

Holly Springs' victory bumped their record up to 15-4. As for Green Level, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last nine games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season.

Holly Springs didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 15-0 win against Panther Creek on the 29th. As for Green Level, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 9-4 loss against Middle Creek on the 29th.
