Baseball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Auburn

Five must be Auburn's lucky number: they beat Smiths Station with that score not once but twice on Thursday. The Tigers walked away with a 5-1 win over the Panthers. Winning may never get old, but the Tigers sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Jack Conway looked comfortable as he pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. What's more, he posted three strikeouts, the most he's had since back in February.

At the plate, Wilson Foster was excellent, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Weston Luther, who went 1-for-3 with one home run.

Auburn's victory bumped their record up to 18-15. As for Smiths Station, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-25.

As of now, neither Auburn nor the Panthers have any future games scheduled.
