It's playoff time, and Gilmer had no trouble coming through when it counted. They put the hurt on the Peach County Trojans with a sharp 7-1 victory on Thursday. Considering Gilmer have won eight matches by more than two goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Peach County with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Yenifer Lopez (4), Estephany Becerra (2), and Sophia Lykins.

Gilmer pushed their record up to 11-5 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 26 goals over those four contests. As for Peach County, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 15-3 record.

As of now, neither Gilmer nor the Trojans have any future games scheduled.
