  Christine Myers made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and  went a perfect 2-for-2 with one  home run and three  RBI.  Chloe Randolph was another key player,  going 1-for-3 with one  stolen base, one  run,  and one  double.
 Granite City's defeat dropped their record down to 7-13. As for Jersey, their win bumped their record up to 7-11-1.
 Everything went Jersey's way against Granite City in their previous meeting  back in May of 2024, as Jersey made off with  a  12-1 victory.
