Shiloh Hills Christian suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Tuesday. They had to suffer through a rough 59-32 loss at the hands of Horizon Christian Academy. While losing is never fun, Shiloh Hills Christian can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 433rd, while Horizon Christian Academy is ranked 154th).
Dominion Christian posted their biggest victory since November 17, 2023 on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Holy Spirit Prep with a sharp 53-32 victory. Dominion Christian pushed the score to 47-17 by the end of the third, a deficit Holy Spirit Prep cut but never quite recovered from.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Dominion Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Elizabeth Johnson, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 16 rebounds. Johnson has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last five times she's played. Alexa Vreken was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds.
Shiloh Hills Christian has not been sharp recently, as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season. As for Dominion Christian, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-8.
