Basketball Recap: Stephenson Snaps Five-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Stephenson played in conference for the first time on Tuesday and they got just the result they we're looking for. They walked away with a 71-63 victory over the Mt. Zion Bulldogs. That's more bragging rights for the Jaguars, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Stephenson's win ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-6. As for Mt. Zion, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Stephenson Jaguars take on the Creekside Christian Academy Cougars at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Mt. Zion, they will take on Northside in a tournament on December 27th.
