Ipswich has enjoyed a two-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will square off against the Miller Rustlers at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
After soaring to a 30-point victory in their last game, Ipswich came back down to earth on Saturday. They fell just short of Highmore/Harrold by a score of 46-44.
Meanwhile, Miller came up short against the Warriors on Tuesday and fell 45-33. Miller has not had much luck with the Warriors recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Ipswich has not been sharp recently as the team's lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-5 record this season. As for Miller, they dropped their record down to 3-11 with that defeat, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season.
Ipswich didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against the Rustlers when the teams last played back in February of 2023, but they still walked away with a 51-45 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Ipswich since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
