After flying high against the Provine Rams on Tuesday, the Taylorsville Tartars came back down to earth. Taylorsville was beaten by Quitman 52-16 on Saturday. Taylorsville was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 32-8.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Quitman to victory, but perhaps none more so than AUDRIANA HARRIS, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 10 rebounds. The matchup was HARRIS's fifth in a row with at least ten points. Jahyla Dubuse was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with 8 rebounds and 5 steals.
Taylorsville now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Quitman, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.
