Carlisle may have come out ahead in their last game, but they shouldn't get too cocky given who is up next. On Friday, they take on Lewis Central at 7:00 PM. The MaxPreps rankings say the odds are against Carlisle, but that can only make success all the sweeter.
Even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Carlisle beat Winterset 25-20 last Friday.
Meanwhile, Lewis Central took care of business in their home opener. Everything went their way against Sergeant Bluff-Luton last week as they made off with a 42-14 win. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Lewis Central had established a 42-7 advantage.
Their wins bumped Lewis Central to 1-0 and Carlisle to 1-0. While both teams are coming in off of wins, only one will triumph this week. Who will it be ? Watch the game and check back in with MaxPreps for details.
