Basketball Recap: Tenaha Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Tenaha had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 15.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They came within five points of losing the streak, but they secured a 52-47 W against the Timpson Bears. The Tigers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bears, too.

Timpson's loss came despite strong showings from Maliah Norris and Taylor Stewart. Norris dropped a double-double with 17 points and 11 rebounds, while Stewart dropped a double-double with 12 points and 12 boards.

The win got Tenaha back to even at 7-7. As for Timpson, they moved to 10-5 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Tenaha wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 44-35 victory against Joaquin on the 19th. As for Timpson, they have also already played their next matchup, a 64-19 win against Garrison on the 19th.
