Colton Pearson Drops League-Best Effort on Friday
Starting off the list is Centerville's Colton Pearson, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Pearson's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 102 rushing yards. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, picking up a sack and making four total tackles.
The win was the third in a row for Centerville, bringing their record for this year to 5-1. A feisty cat fight will be fought when Tigers faces off against Leon at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

A Season-Best Performance from Michael Sullivan Leads Corrigan-Camden over Groveton
Corrigan-Camden was led to victory by Michael Sullivan, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Sullivan rushed for 87 yards and a touchdown on only five carries, and also threw for 127 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 passes. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 72-yard run.
Corrigan-Camden pushed their record up to 3-3 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Sullivan and Corrigan-Camden will head out to challenge Hearne at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Big Game from Phillips As Centerville Won 31-14
The second Centerville player making an appearance here is Amarius Phillips, and for good reason. He rushed for 119 yards. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his sixth straight game with at least 111 rushing yards dating back to last season.
On the year, Phillips has averaged 155.8 rushing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after six games last season, he was only averaging 30.83 rushing yards per game.
