The North Walterboro Christian Warriors couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They were beaten by Sumter Christian 85-15 on Tuesday.
It was another big night for Aj Danzy, who scored 21 points for Sumter Christian. The contest was Danzy's sixth in a row with at least ten points. Larry Wayne Rodgers was another key contributor, scoring 16 points.
North Walterboro Christian's loss dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Sumter Christian, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.
North Walterboro Christian will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Harvest Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on January 11, 2024. As for Sumter Christian, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Grace Christian at 5:30 p.m.
