The Port Angeles Roughriders entered their tilt with the Franklin Pierce Cardinals with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. Port Angeles came out on top against Franklin Pierce by a score of 28-18 on Friday.
Franklin Pierce's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Tony Olione Silva, who rushed for 83 yards and a touchdown. Another player making a difference was Bryson Allen, who rushed for 104 yards on only 14 carries.
Port Angeles is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a massive bump to their 7-4 record this season. As for Franklin Pierce, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 7-3.
Port Angeles will head out on the road to face off against Tumwater at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Tumwater is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling. Franklin Pierce does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
