This season hasn't been kind to The DuPont Tigers, who are still winless after their seventh match. They had to suffer through a rough 55-0 loss at the hands of Tatnall.
It was another big night for Rahshan Lamons, who threw for 83 yards and two touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. Jack Homer got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
DuPont's loss was their fifth straight on the road (dating back to last season), which dropped their overall record down to 0-7. As for Tatnall, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 6-1.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. DuPont is on the road again on Saturday and play against Glasgow at 12:00 p.m. on October 28th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Delaware (Glasgow is ranked 42nd, while DuPont is ranked 47th). As for Tatnall, they will head out on the road to face off against St. Elizabeth at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. St. Elizabeth is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
