Wolfe City's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Cavan Armstrong, who scored ten points along with eight rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Noah Adams, who scored six points along with seven rebounds and two blocks.
Wolfe City has been struggling recently, as they've lost 11 of their last 13 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-20 record this season. As for Bland, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 15-13.
Wolfe City will be playing in front of their home fans against Whitewright at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Whitewright is no doubt hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. As for Bland, they will head out on the road to take on Honey Grove at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Honey Grove will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
