They put the hurt on the Vista Murrieta Broncos with a sharp  8-2 victory. Considering South Hills has won 13 games by more than five  runs this season, Thursday's  blowout was nothing new.
  Parker Milton spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned  (and one unearned) run on five hits and racked up six Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  pitched less than five  innings in four consecutive pitching appearances.
 At the plate,  Joie Economides was  incredible,  getting on base  in all four of her plate appearances with a  home run, three  RBI,  and two  runs. The team also got some help courtesy of  Kayla Sigala, who  got on base  in three of her four plate appearances with a  home run.
 South Hills is  on a roll lately: they've  won ten of their last 12 contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 21-9 record  this season. As for Vista Murrieta, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-11.
 South Hills will head out on the road to  square off against  Pacifica at 3:15  p.m.  on Tuesday. Both teams are coming into the  matchup red-hot, with South Hills sitting on  four straight  wins and Pacifica on eight. Vista Murrieta does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
