Even though they lost, Valencia smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 11 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, West Mesa was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They were outmatched by Cleveland at home and fell 47-19. The Mustangs were down 34-14 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.
Valencia's record is now 1-3. As for West Mesa, their record now sits at 0-2.
