Edgewood has gone 9-1 against Northview recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Mustangs will challenge the Knights at 5:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Edgewood has three straight wins, Northview has three straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Edgewood is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Monday. They blew past Speedway 8-0. The Mustangs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 19 matchups by six runs or more this season.
ALLY BLAND made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out 11 over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in 11 consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, firing off two home runs, three runs, and four RBI while going 2-for-3. Those two home runs gave her a new career-high.

Edgewood lost a few balls and finished the game with three home runs. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Speedway didn't launched any.

Maggie Krause spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned runs on eight hits and racked up ten Ks.
Edgewood's record is now 25-4. As for Northview, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-9.
Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Tuesday. Edgewood hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 0.7 home runs per game. However, it's not like Northview struggles in that department as they've been averaging 0.6 home runs. With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down.
Edgewood was able to grind out a solid victory over Northview when the teams last played on May 6th, winning 5-0. Will the Mustangs repeat their success, or do the Knights have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
