Greater Atlanta Christian walked away with a 49-38 win over the Knights. The win was familiar territory for Greater Atlanta Christian who now have three in a row.
Leading Greater Atlanta Christian to victory were Myla Benton and Asia Johnson. Benton scored 21 points along with six rebounds and five steals, while Johnson scored 19 points along with six rebounds and six steals. Johnson has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last 14 times she's played. Lizzy Hathaway was another key contributor, scoring two points along with five rebounds.
Defeat or not, Centennial got some senior leadership from Diamond Leslie and Jasmine Perez. Leslie dropped a double-double on 22 points and 11 rebounds, while Perez. scored 16 points along with six assists and two steals. That was a full 57.9% of Centennial's points, marking the third time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Greater Atlanta Christian pushed their record up to 8-11 with that victory, which was their fifth straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.4 points per game. As for Centennial, their loss dropped their record down to 4-14.

As for Centennial, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Titans at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
